What is ASP.NET Hosting?

ASP.NET hosting provides a Windows server environment for running web applications built with Microsoft's ASP.NET framework. Our plans support ASP.NET versions 2.x through 4.x and include MSSQL databases, Plesk control panel and full IIS web server configuration.

When should I choose Windows hosting instead of Linux?

Choose Windows hosting if your website is built with ASP, ASP.NET or requires MSSQL databases. If you use PHP, WordPress, Joomla, Perl or Python then Linux hosting is the right choice. Your decision should be based on the programming language and database your site needs, not the operating system on your computer.

Can I run PHP and ASP.NET on the same account?

Yes, all of our Windows hosting plans include full support for both ASP.NET and PHP under the same account. This means you can run ASP.NET applications alongside PHP-based tools or websites without needing a separate hosting package.

Which control panel do you use for Windows hosting?

All Windows hosting plans include the Plesk control panel, which is the industry-standard management interface for Windows servers. From Plesk you can manage your websites, email, databases, DNS, security settings, application pools and more.

Can I upgrade my Windows hosting plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade from ASP Nano to ASP Mega or ASP Giga at any time. Upgrades are applied immediately and any remaining credit from your current plan is applied to the new price. All your files, databases and settings are preserved during the upgrade.

Do you offer MSSQL database support?

Yes, all Windows hosting plans include MSSQL databases. The ASP Nano plan includes 2 MSSQL databases, ASP Mega includes 5, and the ASP Giga plan offers unlimited MSSQL databases. Database management is handled through the Plesk control panel.

Is there a money back guarantee?

Yes, all our Windows hosting plans come with a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied within the first 30 days, contact our support team for a full refund.

Why Choose Eco for Windows Hosting

Our Windows hosting platform is built for developers and businesses who need ASP.NET, MSSQL and Plesk on reliable UK-based servers, backed by genuine personal support from our experienced team.

Full ASP.NET Support

Our Windows servers support ASP.NET versions 2.x through 4.x, giving you the flexibility to run both legacy and modern .NET applications. Whether you are maintaining an established ASP application or building something new, our platform has you covered.

All plans also include PHP support alongside ASP.NET, so you can run both technologies on the same account without needing separate hosting packages.

MSSQL & MySQL Databases

Every Windows hosting plan includes both MSSQL and MySQL databases. MSSQL is the natural choice for ASP.NET applications and integrates directly with the .NET framework, while MySQL support means you can also run PHP-based applications like WordPress if needed.

Database management is handled through the Plesk control panel, with tools for creating, importing and managing your databases without needing direct server access.

Plesk Control Panel

All Windows hosting plans include the Plesk control panel, the leading management interface for Windows servers. Plesk provides an intuitive dashboard for managing your websites, email accounts, databases, DNS settings and security features.

Plesk makes it straightforward to deploy ASP.NET applications, manage IIS settings, configure application pools and handle SSL certificates, all from a clean web-based interface.

UK Based Windows Servers

Our Windows servers are housed in UK data centres with redundant power, cooling and network connectivity. Hosting your ASP.NET applications in the UK means lower latency for UK visitors and ensures your data stays within UK jurisdiction.

We use enterprise-grade hardware with SSD storage for fast read and write speeds, ensuring your ASP.NET applications and MSSQL databases perform at their best.

When to Choose Windows over Linux

Choose Windows hosting if you are developing with ASP, ASP.NET or need MSSQL databases. Windows is essential for applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. If your site uses WordPress, Joomla, PHP, Perl or Python, Linux hosting is the better choice.

The operating system of your desktop or laptop does not determine which hosting you need. The decision is based entirely on the programming languages and database technologies your website uses. If you are unsure, our support team are happy to advise.

Easy Migration to Eco Hosting

Switching your Windows hosting to Eco Hosting is straightforward. Our support team have experience migrating ASP.NET applications, MSSQL databases and Plesk configurations from other hosts with minimal downtime.

Simply purchase your Windows hosting plan and open a support ticket with your existing hosting details. We will coordinate the migration and ensure everything is working correctly before you update your DNS records.
