UK Cloud VPS Servers, Built Your Way

Every cloud server is provisioned on KVM with dedicated, isolated resources in our UK datacentre. Configure the specification you need above, or read on for how the platform works.

KVM Virtualisation and Dedicated Resources

Our cloud servers run on KVM, which gives every instance its own kernel and genuinely isolated CPU, memory and storage. Unlike container-based virtualisation, nothing is shared or oversold, so the resources you configure are the resources you get, whatever your neighbours are doing.

Storage is enterprise NVMe SSD throughout, backed by a 1Gbps uplink. You can choose a general purpose build or weight it towards CPU, memory or storage depending on whether you are running a busy database, an application server or a file store.

Your Choice of Control Panel and Operating System

Pick cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin and we will license and install it for you, or take the server unmanaged with no panel at all if you would rather configure it yourself.

Operating system choices include AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS, plus Windows Server where your application needs it. Everything is deployed automatically, so a new server is typically ready within minutes of checkout rather than hours.

Managed, Backed Up and Protected

Choose unmanaged if you have your own sysadmin, or add standard or premium management and our UK team will handle patching, monitoring, security hardening and support at the operating system level.

JetBackup is available with your choice of destination, from bring-your-own storage up to 20TB, and malware protection can be added with cPGuard, ImunifyAV or Imunify360. Additional IP addresses, extra block storage and LiteSpeed licensing are all configurable above.

Hosted in the UK on Renewable Energy

Your server runs in a UK datacentre powered entirely by renewable energy and cooled using free cooling, which uses the British climate rather than energy-hungry mechanical refrigeration wherever outside temperatures allow.

We offset the carbon footprint of both our datacentre and our offices, so choosing a cloud server here does not mean trading environmental impact for performance. Support comes from our own team in the UK, seven days a week.

Great for business and personal projects alike
These guys are great. I've used them for many years now for my tech company and for little arts projects. They're reasonably priced, the support is excellent and the hosting does everything you need. I've used a few providers over the years – these are people I'm happy to stick with.

Still happy with Ecohosting after 15 years
I've used Ecohosting for over 15 years and continue to be happy with their support. It's never easy for tech support gauging the right level of detail to use in responding to a user problem, as user capabilities vary so much. Eco don't get that right 100% of the time but almost always, and react well when a more technical response is required. Very happy to recommend Ecohosting for shared server cPanel accounts.

Very quick support
I always get very quick and efficient support from the EcoHosting team, even when the issues were sometimes of my own doing. Highly recommend this ISP.
